Mexican Fan Palm in Bloom
Our largest Mexican Fan Palm bloomed this week. The first time ever. The bees sure like the flowers. I've read that the fruit is edible, which means a new beach cocktail will soon be in the making.

The tree is around 10 years old. We planted 3 at the same time. This one is 30 feet tall, but one of them is only 5 feet tall.

I've never seen a Mexican Fan Palm in bloom! How many years has it been planted? Let us know in plenty of time to get down to sample the new beach tail!
