Apalachicola Downtown Oyster Roast
Seafood lovers and oyster aficionados get ready. The 5th annual Downtown Oyster Roast takes place November 6th, 6:00 to 9:00 pm in downtown Apalachicola. The event, sponsored by the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce, will feature roasted oysters, oyster on the half shell, creamy artichoke, oyster and thyme soup, fresh local shrimp, blue crabs, salad greens and scratch cakes. The event takes place in downtown Apalachicola in the lush surroundings of The Garden Shop on Commerce Street. Local blues man Joe Hutchinson will provide live entertainment.
