"One Hundred Years of Plein Air", Jean Stern, Art Historian and Executive Director of the Irvine Museum will present a visual presentation focusing on the evolution of the plein air movement. A recognized authority on California Impressionism, art historian Jean Stern has extensive experience in the field as an author, curator, and teacher.  Executive director of the Irvine Museum since its inception in 1993, he has established a national presence for the Irvine Museum through a noteworthy international series of books, exhibitions, lectures, articles, and video documentaries. He was a consultant to and appears in the two PBS documentary video series, Impressions of California and Plein Air: Painting the American Landscape, Presentation Hall, 51 Good Morning Street, WindMark Village Center, 7:30 -9 pm
