Mark Fehlman
Mark Fehlman practiced as an architect for 35 years, as the design partner for the San Diego based firm, Fehlman LaBarre. Mark started painting in 2000 and within 5 years left architecture to start a new career as an artist. He trained under many great artists, but the two who were most influential were Ray Roberts and John Asaro. Like both artists, Mark is equally comfortable in figurative and landscape subjects that feature strong composition, well defined value relationships and vibrant color. He has won numerous awards in various shows, including the “Grand Award” for the LPAPA 2014 Best of Plein Air, First Place in the Borrego Springs Plein Air Festival, as well as many other awards and recognition. His work has been included in the California Art Club “Gold Medal” show, the “On Location in Malibu” show at Pepperine’s Weisman Museum, the “Tejon Ranch” show at the Bakersfield Museum of Art, and the Maynard Dixon Country Show in Utah. He is an artist member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association and the California Art Club. www.markfehlman.com

Debra Huse
Debra Huse uses rich color and bold fluid strokes to capture the light and drama in her oil paintings. Originally from Indiana, Huse lives in Costa Mesa, CA and has a studio in a boatyard. She has a passion for painting coastal scenes and old fishing boats. Huse is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, the American Society of Marine Artists & Laguna Plein Air Painters. www.debrahuse.com

Greg LaRock
Greg LaRock has been a featured artist with Forgotten Coast en Plein Air since 2013 and was the winner of the 2015 Artists’ Choice Award. A signature member of AIS, LPAPA, ASMA, and a board member of the CA Art Club-Orange County, Greg LaRock has won numerous awards at plein air events in Easton (MD), Newport Bay (CA), Callaway Gardens (GA), and here on the Forgotten Coast (FL). He is a sought-after instructor for plein air workshops and has been featured in Southwest Art, Plein Air Magazine, and included in Jack Richeson’s Fine Art Series book Plein Air New Mexico. “The challenge of depicting the three-dimensional world onto canvas is a difficult pursuit, but when it all comes together, it is an extremely rewarding experience. Making it look realistic, yet having a completely loose, painterly feel is my ultimate goal in a successful painting." www.greglarock.com
